Unsigned tripod microscope

Compound microscope, 2/4 19th C.

 

A foldable tripod foot is connected to a tapered pillar, ending with a compass joint. A clamp sustains a trestle for the body tube and the stage with diaphgram; an additional clamp is for the mirror. The focus mechanism is by a rackwork on the right side of the body tube by a milled head. Accessories include four objectives.
