Signed: DOLLOND LONDON
Plate 11,8 x 11,8 cm
Box 30,5 x 15,5 x 7 cm
The square

can be controlled by two wing nuts; one attached to a pinion for angle variation
and the other to a worm screw for rotation. The body tube attaches to the
plate and a condensing lens is present; at the other end a spring-barrel
tube holds the final condenser, the specimen and the projection lens.
Six projections lenses are present, with numbers from 1 to 6 engraved on
the brass rims. The final condensers are contained in dovetail slides and
are marked for their appropriate projector lens in pair: 1 & 2, 3 &
4, 5 & 6. Focusing is by rackwork. There is also a white ivory talc
box. The microscope packs into a mahogany box.
