The stand is a Type
III and has a horseshoe foot with a pillar. The plano-concave mirror can
be oriented by mean of an arm and can be rotated. Under the stage three
changeable stops slides into a movable diaphragm. An arm sustains the tube;
coarse focus is done by moving the tube within its sleeve, fine focus by
a knob on the pillar. The body tube is provided with draw tube tubulation.
The two objectives, signed P. I. T. N.° 2 3 and P. I. T. N.° 2 7
2107, can be mounted individually or in a steel revolver; they are kept
in a leather box. There are three eyepieces signed respectively: P. I. T.
N.° 2 on the side and I on the top; P. I. T. N.° 2 on the side and
III on the top; W.&H. Seibert Wetzlar 4 on the top. Two diaphragms are
present.
The mahogany box has the serial number 7319 on it, with the supports covered
with black velvet. There is a compartment that contains the instruction
book (in German).
