This stand is a Type V, with a black horseshoe foot and
a pillar. The mirror has one side and is fixed through the pillar with a
connecting rod. The stage is fixed to the pillar with screws. The serial
number and firm are signed on the rectangular stage; under it there is a
rotating diaphragm with five holes. The tube is connected to the pillar
with two control sticks operated by the micrometric screw. The coarse focus
is by moving the tube within its sleeve.
There are two identical objectives, both signed 3, and the two unsigned
eyepieces. The mahogany box has supports covered with black velvet and a
compartment inside.
