This small portable instrument by Bausch & Lomb retains intact all its charme. It has a folding tripod base and, when it is closed, stands in horizontal position. The curved limb has a pin to stop the microscope when folded and ends with a circular collar for the telescopic tube; focus is done by moving the tube within its sleeve. The squared table has the clips, under it the circular mirror is sustained by an arm and can be rotated. While the body tube is in brass, the other parts of the microscope are in black, with wear on table border. The case is made of cloth and has a decorative brass lock.
